Safe spaces for GBV survivors are urgent infrastructure.

RJN is lobbying policymakers, lawmakers, government officials, community leaders, and the public to reopen and sustainably support SGBV shelters. The campaign uses evidence-based advocacy, data-driven research, media pressure, direct dialogue, and mobilisation of affected communities to restore safety and dignity for women, girls, and gender non-conforming people.

RJN recognises that gender-based oppression intersects with race, class, sexual orientation, and other forms of discrimination, shaping advocacy around diverse community needs.
